Text file search should support symbol decoding (tokenisation) in search dialog, then position transformation when viewing in symbolised documents.
This may be tricky and may involve adjusting Eclipse dialogs, or trying to patch regular expressions. It might be possible to add these enhancements in our extension for searching.
